The only movies I watch nowadays are children‘s movies. More in the league of “Dora the Explorer” or “Elmo in Grouchland”
No, it’s not because that’s all I can mentally handle, despite what my wife says
It’s because we have toddlers and there are no movies worthy of inviting Christ over to watch, and since I’m part of Christ‘s body, I won’t watch anything.
But I do read lots and lots of books.
Theology books and language books. While I’m reading Chrysostom, I’ll also brush up on Tlingit.
My summer reading lists include reading the rest of the NavPress, Thomson Nelson, and Multnomah books I have to review. I’ve been neglecting them. But I will. As soon as I finish reading Christ the Center by Dietrich Boenhoffer ![]()
